Meet Lauren Adkins, LPC Intern

Lauren is a second-year graduate student at Oklahoma State University. Working toward her License of Professional Counseling (LPC), she earned her undergraduate degree in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University. It was here where she developed a strong foundation in understanding human behavior and personal growth. Passionate about helping clients heal, build self-confidence, and deepen their self-understanding, Lauren’s goal is to make her clients feel valued and understood by collaboratively working with them to create a safe, supportive space to empower meaningful change. Lauren also works as a part-time intern at Tulsa Family and Children’s Services. Previously, Lauren worked with teens and families as a Student Success Coach, where she assisted adolescents in furthering their education. Although she loved working with this population, she’s excited for the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele. In her free timeLauren enjoys being outdoors, baking & cooking, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
