Meet Hunter Guretzki, LPC Intern

Hunter is a graduate student at Liberty University pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. With a heart for helping others navigate life’s challenges, Hunter brings a deep passion for working with children and young adults- particularly in areas related to eating disorders, emotional resilience, and creative expression in therapy. Hunter holds a bachelor’s degree from Oral Roberts University, where he learned the value of holistic care and people-centered support through hands-on experiences and the encouragement of his own personal growth. Deeply committed to creating spaces where clients feel seen and accepted, Hunter believes in the transformative power of self-expression—whether through art, storytelling, movement, or personal style—as a meaningful path toward healing and self-discovery.
In practice, Hunter embraces an eclectic approach, integrating evidence-based strategies with expressive and relational techniques such as play therapy and narrative therapy. Both honor each client’s individuality and strive to help others reconnect with their inner strengths while feeling safe to explore and express their full selves—without judgment. Outside of clinical work, Hunter enjoys painting, attending concerts, sipping great coffee, and exploring fashion & storytelling through photography. These creative outlets reflect the belief that self-expression is not only healing but empowering. Whole Hive is thrilled to have Hunter on the team and excited for the care, creativity, and insight they’ll bring to clients and the counseling community!
